As a huge fan of Daredevil's comic books the least I was expecting from this TV Series was a good story-telling and not a predictable story. The show delivered much more than what I was waiting. A huge credit to Netflix, which proves again the power and ability to make another thrilling TV Series. Different from many of other super heroes TV shows, Daredevil has a darker and realistic tone which fits very well to the characteristic of the character. <br/><br/>While you're watching Daredevil you can notice influences of many important phases of character in the comics, but the one who stands out is Frank Miller's Daredevil, which is knownthe best phase of all of Daredevil. Other entertaining aspect , if you are a fan of Daredevil's comics, is the number of easter eggs and characters that appear in the show, which are also known by their appearances in the comics, but in the TV Series, they aren't or haven't become yet what they supposed to be.<br/><br/>The fight scenes were awesome, they are made in such may which you feel sorry for what Matt Murdock(Charlie Cox) is suffering. They are very well choreographed and with such bloody and raw scenes, surely it's one of the most biggest hits of the series. Both the creation and the development of the characters is done in an incredible way, making such interesting and provoking characters. The chemistry between the leading trio, Matt, Foggy Nelson(Elden Henson) and Karen Page(Deborah Ann Woll) is great, the actors made an outstanding job in creating such likable characters. Regarding to the antagonism of Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk(Vincent D'Onofrio), both wanting a better future for the city. The actions each one is prepared to do to make this future to happen causes the line between good and evil disappear. Bringing to the series a very realistic air. I really enjoyed the series and can't expect for what they will bring of new to the Season 2.

When Marvel first started making movies, they never dreamed they'd be getting the stars, exposure, or the nearly half a billion dollar box office receipts for every film they release. Perhaps the most overlooked element in Marvel's wave of success is the writers and directors, which is really what has led to the big stars, better films, and ultimately the TV series.<br/><br/>Marvel attempted to introduce Daredevil in 2003, in what amounted to one of the worst superhero movies I've ever seen. The plot was nonexistent, they rushed the characters backstory, and the acting was a joke. They learned from theses mistakes however, and reinvented the character in the Netflix series by the same name.<br/><br/>Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) was blinded in an accident when he was a child, but despite losing his sight, he gained other abilities. His other senses became super strong and he was trained to use them to help defend himself. As a youth, despite his training, Murdock decided to fight injustice in the courts and became a lawyer, eventually starting a firm with him best friend, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). Being a lawyer didn't always get Murdock the justice he sought, so he started using his training, and going out at night to fight crimethe devil of Hell's Kitchen, eventually dubbed by the pressDaredevil.<br/><br/>On the surface, people will look at this series and see another superhero show, but when you sit down to watch it, you will realize that the writing makes all the difference. This is one of those shows where the superhero element is an after thought, because everything else is so realistic and believable, that aside from the fight scenes, you forget that you're watching a Marvel superhero show. The criminals developed for this show, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) and The Punisher (Jon Benthal) aregood, if not better, than any villain ever seen in any of the Marvel franchises. Beyond that the show has a lot of legal and courtroom elements to it, a medical angel, family and romance issues, I don't say this often, but this show actually does have a little bit of something thrown in there for absolutely everyone! Even if you're not into superheroes, even if you can't stand them, there will be at least one element to the Daredevil series that you will enjoy, I guarantee it. As for the fans, I know it's been a while, but no need to fret, Daredevil have been renewed for a third season, and lead actor Charlie Cox has signed on for the eventual collaboration series, that will include all four Netflix-Marvel characters.

Matt agrees on the condition that Stick restrain himself from killing anyone, but Stick breaks his promise when it is revealed that Black Sky is a young boy being held in a shipping container with chains around his neck and limbs. Stick fails to kill Black Sky while at the docks with Matt, but later says he killed the boy further up the road. Stick does not go into detail but says that the boy was more than "just a boy" and that Matt would have sensed this had he not been emotional at the moment. Black Sky is not a term previously found Marvel Comics so there is no clear parallel to be found there at this time. What exactly the boy named Black Sky is and how exactly he is a weapon is not revealedof the first season of Daredevil, and any fan theories are pure speculation. In season 2; Elektra is revealed to be the Black Sky. There has still been no confirmation on who or what the Black Sky actually is.
